Choice

Choice

Choice.

A multi-edged blade held.

Too loosely.

Too tightly.

Too many times.

At all times.

Choose well, and consequence smiles with favor.

Choose badly, and consequence exacts what result remains.

Choose not at all and consequence runs freely.

Thus, we are the sum of choice and consequence –

Active or inactive, results prevail whether we are willing or no.

Choose.

Choose more.

Choose better.

Choose as you will.

Choose not to choose, but know this:

The sun will rise in the east,

The seasons will progress through their turns,

Others will choose or not choose,

And every facet of your choices and their choices,

Every avoidance of choice of yours or theirs,

Will coalesce to form the consequences of a grand combine as irrevocable as the sunrise.

Life is a force as large as the universe.

As long as we are part of it, it impels us to partake of it.

In spite of the choices we make –

Because of the choices we make.

Nothing was guaranteed to you at your birth beyond the fact of your life.

Therefore, choose.

Choose not to choose.

Your life will continue until it’s end.

And all the consequences reaped are yours for good or ill.

Even if they involve other beings.

Especially if they involve other beings.

The larger your circle, the larger the consequence.

So choose.

Choose not to choose.

But whatever choice you make is a part of The Everything.

All consequences are larger than you suspect.

Choose well.

Choose to be a good choice.

Dawn will come tomorrow.
