Standing down while the nation is wrecked.

Prez has left you for another man.

 

Feel them pull the rug under you,

What are they really up to?

Is this what you asked them to do?

How do you think your life will go,

When there isn’t anything they don’t know?

 

Look how the big man backs from his threats –

What does he really want to get?

When did he become X’s biggest fan?

Donny has left you for another man.

 

Feel them pull the wool over you,

What are they really up to?

Is this what you want them to do?

Will we let them in every division squat?

Do we let them have what they should not?

Do we all just sit back and watch,

While they grab everyone by the crotch?

Your markers cashed in, no more favors to call, Winds of change blowing cold, house of cards to fall.   From the Ashes   Blindly in their towers, Corporate greeders sour, Scarring Mother Earth with deep gashes. Lied to by their shills, Handing us the bills, Still, they will deny the climate crashes. They look the other way, And shorten up our pay, Scarring us with credit debt lashes.
