Water

Water

In the waters of our world,

The secrets of life have ever been.

Food and drink and danger live,

The structure of a live machine.

Drawn ever back to the sands,

We sail the water, and watch the surf,

Returning as often as we can,

From the soil of the earth.

Scatter the water,

Scatter the life,

Be one with the All,

Open your eyes.

Be with the water,

Let go the strife,

The rhythm won't falter,

Just close your eyes.

Sea and sand and sand and sea!

And winds that carry salt from the waves.

Listen to the crashing surf and just be…

The peace is there you seek and crave.

Do you deny the open sea?

The oceans live, we hear their call.

The pull of the tides shall ever be,

Feel the pulse of the All.

The caress of life as the tide rolls in,

The sliding sand scrubbing my skin,

The bracing cold shocks the pores and then,

I reach out for all the All again…

Scatter the water,

Scatter the life,

Be one with the All,

Open your eyes.

Be with the water,

Let go the strife,

The rhythm won't falter,

Just close your eyes.
