Listen here conservative, you think you’ve won with your fear and your hate?

So you think that this is the way now, to terrorize and subjugate?

You think we’re gonna lay down now? Well welcome back to 1968.

And don’t believe you’re going to put us down with a repeat of Kent State,

It’s gone too far now, you’ve gone too far now, you have opened a gate,

That only goes one way, and in doing so you have sealed your fate:

A road is open now and down it we see the way narrow and straight,

And now our anger against injustice is not going to dissipate.

Our freedoms are threatened and we will not allow you to subjugate,

Our women or our children to your attempts to completely abrogate,

The rights that all of us have us have been afforded by laws that delineate,

What a person is allowed to be, laws that indeed started to make our country great.

Instead, you have elected to drag us all back to some Middle Ages date,

When only the monarchy lived well and the serfs carried the weight ,

Of toil and suffering and lived off crumbs fallen from golden plate.

NO MORE! This return to slavery and servitude we do not tolerate!

The time is come for us to end the useless and endless debate,

No more to Bible-thumping Taliban will we prostrate,

We have awoken and you intolerables had better calculate –

Our time is now, and your time is far too late.
