Dancing to the Right

Dancing to the Right

I watched while you ranted and raved

About the people you would save,

From the invented peril grave,

Some horrid vast incoming wave.

But suddenly shots rang out!

Some racial pig had reared it’s snout.

He’d heard what you did quietly shout,

For votes you must turn about…

When will you turn again?

Insincerity with no end.

You’ll spin your tale now, but then,

Back to your vipers’ den,

Tell me now –

When will you turn again?

Being called out for your spiel,

Oh, some thoughts you’ll repeal.

Feet of clay, not of steel,

Tell me, is any part of you real?

When will you turn again?

Insincerity with no end.

You’ll spin your tale now,  but then,

Back to your vipers’ den,

Tell me now –

When will you turn again?
