Beautiful Corruption

 

Come my friends and I’ll tell you a tale,

With poison at the center of its instruction.

It winds a crooked way that can never fail,

To lead you through the path of my corruption.

 

Listen now, ‘cause all the facts are mine,

Be silent! I will suffer no interruption.

They will tell you all the time that I am always lyin’,

But I will make you dance to the tune of my corruption.

 

It’s a beautiful corruption,

Dazzling in its way.

A wonderful abruption,

To keep the facts at bay.

A beautiful corruption,

If you don’t join me, you’ll pay!

 

Now what I really do is take everything from you,

But you don’t notice in our disruption.

Now what will you do – the rewards for you are few,

And that’s the beauty of my corruption.
