And He Weeps

 

Say you so-called Christian, why do you torment those willing to take a stand?

What the fuck makes you so special with your Bible in your hand?

For Jesus Christ’s sake, read the damn thing, maybe you’ll understand,

That liberty is liberty, and freedom means everyone’s, not just the players in your band.

 

Oh sure, you all loudly proclaim you’re all so goddam pro-life,

But things change very drastically when it’s YOUR child, YOUR wife.

It’s about time you really picked up the Scriptures; put down the knife,

Don’t be so prone to preach at me, with your hypocrisy so rife.

 

It’s as if you have never heard or understood the teachings of the Lord:

Violence is not The Way; shall you live and die by the sword?

I am not impressed with your so vaunted numbers, that so-called horde,

Clearly you have forgotten just where the grapes of wrath are stored.

 

So spare me your impoverished and falsely proclaimed piety,

It’s clear to all that you desire a one-way society:

One based in the sin of your hidden vices in all their impropriety,

Leave us to live in peace and love or find yourself forgotten and alone eternally.
